Exotic sophistication … this is the life!

Happy Holidays … Feliz Navidad from sunny and warm Punta Del Este!

This trip has been simply blissful! I have been spending a lot of time at the beach becoming inspired for the seasons ahead.  This place has a very relaxed, laid-back feel that I am definitely enjoying.

The unspoiled Uruguayan peninsula of Punta del Este is all about  paradisaical oceanic beaches, exotic sophistication, and  beautiful people.

Our block printed pareo in turquoise makes a fabulous addition for a perfect beach wardrobe, just throw on some accessories and a nice straw clutch.  Turquoise blends well with almost anything, it is one of those colors that is cool and crisp while being sophisticated and chic at the same time.

Turquoise is officially my color of the month !

Today I will be making Dinner for about 25 guests coming in for Christmas! I’m planning a menu that both kids and adults will enjoy.

Iranian Rice, with almonds, raisins, curry, and spicy orange chicken. The recipe is a well kept secret that I wont give even to my closest friends!

Torta Rogel, with layers of pancakes and dulce de leche . This desert can sink any ship!  You can find a good recipe here .. enjoy!
