Happy Valentine’s as we head to Jaipur … the pink city

In the spirit of all things valentines, our final destination this trip is Jaipur, the Pink City. The candy-floss-bright turbans blaze a trail through brilliant bargain-filled bazaars, and fluttering saris catch the eye like butterflies.

Jaipur is our final stop mainly due to the amazing crafts and fabrics that can be picked up here. The handicrafts of Jaipur are well-known throughout the world for their distinctive quality and exclusive variety, a perfect match to Roberta Freymann & Roberta Roller Rabbit! Due to this fact, Jaipur is also recognized as the crafts capital of India.. If you are a lover of all things crafted, the markets of Jaipur offer a rich assortment of handicrafts from papier mache (the home of our hand-painted ornaments), pottery, accessories, apparel and a range of hand block prints (the home of our heart prints) that have our design heads spinning!

As we head back to a cold New York this weekend, we take with us some fabulous ideas for the upcoming seasons and all that is left to say is Namaste to our beloved India … until June!
